I like taking pictures of food I cook/eat. I sometimes draw, paint and craft things for people I love. I live with a man who just so happens to be the love of my life, so it's pretty convenient.
My current priorities are to be healthy, save money for a bigger home and get back to creating things.

Vegan doughnuts from The Donuttery in Huntington Beach
Woke up, let Bronson out to do business, fed Bronson, walked to the store to buy milk, attempted to befriend & feed a random dog walking around on my street that was a possible stray but also had a collar on, rejected by random dog, made whole wheat French toast, made hash, then posted a photo of my food on Instagram, and now Tumblr.
My boyfriend made dinner for us tonight while I was putting the pieces of my current project together. (Trophy for my friends’ 5th Annual Natty Classic Beer Pong Tournament.) I’ve been making these since 2010, and I think I’ve definitely peaked in terms of “where I can take it.” To be fair, though, my friends always tell me 1 month before the tournament that I’ll be making it so it doesn’t really give me that much time! Funny thing is that for the second year in a row, I didn’t know I was again in charge of the trophy-making until I read the Facebook invite for the event. I think my friends just think that I’m someone with enough self-confidence to assume that she’ll always be chosen for special tasks. Silly boys!
I’ve also just finished designing the invitation for my sister’s upcoming bridal shower, so that’s something I can check off the list. It’s simple, but she seems to really like it so yay.
Now I just have 999,999 things left to do…
Marinated salmon w/ spinach and mushrooms
Meal from days ago. But still post-worthy, I believe.
Filet Mignon Salad
(Sorry, Catholic loves!)
Been super stressed out again over finances and side projects. Until I can pull something off, all I can do is stress out over it. Blah.
Lobster Hash
Bottega Louie, Los Angeles
My pre-macarons entree from our 2-year anniversary brunch yesterday. As always, runny yolk ♥
Fried Brown Rice Tofu Pockets
Brown rice, pork loins (cubed & marinated w/ minced garlic + low-sodium soy sauce), mushrooms, corn, carrots, green beans, peas, eggs, aburaage (bean curd pockets), S&P, sriracha
Ever since I saw a different version of this “dish” a few days ago on a blog, I’d been craving it. So today, I stopped by the Chinese market to pick up some Korean bean curd pockets, which were unfortunately smaller than I had wanted (but was all they had.) Nevertheless, these came out DELICIOUS and I think they’d make great healthy appetizers for parties as well!
Healthy Breakfast Taco
Corn tortilla, 2 eggs, avocado, diced onion, cilantro, leftover salsa
Feeling fine :)
