Ever since my boyfriend started working full-time a couple of weeks ago (yay!), I’ve been packing lunch to work everyday, since he takes the car. I don’t mind it one bit! It saves money and fuel. I try packing lunches for him too, but he doesn’t seem to like that… He’ll just bring it back home and say he bought 2 cheeseburgers instead. Oh well!
“So what do you usually pack for lunch?” asked nobody. Well, nobody, I always just whip up something simple. Such as chicken & broccoli, veggies with brown rice, some tofu & veggies medley, etc. I’ve been very much lacking in the cooking creativity department of my brain lately, hence similar meals everyday and more unhealthy dinner outings. It pretty much cancels out the money I save on lunch.
I’ve been reading a lot of blogs lately, and it’s effectively stimulated my lust for new clothes & accessories. Because I’ve been on a tight budget for so long, my sense of style has been dormant and I hadn’t acquired any new clothing in half a year. So I bought a new dress last night! My boyfriend likes it. He said it looks like “what that slut wore in Fight Club.” That’s fine by me. I just want to dress like a girl again! I’m aiming for a wardrobe makeover (over time, to stay within budget.) It’s doable :)
