I like taking pictures of food I cook/eat. I sometimes draw, paint and craft things for people I love. I live with a man who just so happens to be the love of my life, so it's pretty convenient.

My current priorities are to be healthy, save money for a bigger home and get back to creating things.

The funniest thing.

I bought my sister a dozen of macarons from Merely Sweets in Brea as a small gift for her engagement dinner. When I gave it to her, she looked at her fiancé and laughed. After dinner, she handed me a Merely Sweets bag, inside of which were a dozen of macarons she had gotten me, along with a heart stone asking me to be her maid of honor.

So now I’m a first-time maid of honor. A maid of honor with a bunch of macarons. We attended a bridal expo in Anaheim today, which only made me certain that I want nothing to do with any of that stuff. Not that I don’t want to get married, but all that crazy wedding business involving strangers, no thank you. I’d want nearly everything to be put together by myself, my boyfriend and our loved ones. Hands on and DIY all the way!

Oh, and now I must lose weight! I’d lost a good amount late last year, then gained some back this year, and I’ll be aiming to shed more in the next few months. I’ve been too lenient with my food choices this year! The maid of honor thing is giving me an extra push on top of the self-hatred, HAHAHA. I’ve missed Healthy Debbie and it’s high time to bring her back.

Treated us to some wonderful ‘Lette Macarons yesterday. I wish I had the money to buy macarons all the time. For now, I’ll consider them a rare delicacy. To live and die and pay for overpriced treats in LA.
