I like taking pictures of food I cook/eat. I sometimes draw, paint and craft things for people I love. I live with a man who just so happens to be the love of my life, so it's pretty convenient.

My current priorities are to be healthy, save money for a bigger home and get back to creating things.

It’s my darling’s 32nd birthday today! I had a busy one running around getting my car serviced and putting together his surprises. I would say it’s been a productive and happy day :) We even squeezed in a 3-hour nap. (Us old people can’t hang, really.)

DATE NIGHT!

I had dinner with my college friend Andy and his girlfriend last night, then my boyfriend joined us for an amazing night of cosmic bowling at our favorite arcade, Round 1. The boys had pitchers of Newcastle, and the girls sucked at bowling. It was great times. And because, for some reason, we kept experiencing technical issues here & there, my boyfriend spoke to the manager and got us a voucher for 4 free games. Oh, the power of polite complaints.

I love that I still think he’s the sexiest guy in the world and I love that I’m still so in love. I take it all- the good, the gassy, the funny, and the bad. My biggest fear, besides getting shot in the face, is our feelings fading away. I hope it never happens. I hope we stay in love forever. (Or just until I hit an age where I’m completely fine with getting really fat and dying alone.)

Bad Religion. FUCK YEAH! (Taken with Instagram)

Us on the way to our friends’ baby shower yesterday. It was quite lovely. (But a little too hot to be outside, I’d say. My face was melting.) I drank 5 bottles of water to cool down. There were two 5-foot long burritos, a ton of AMAZING pasta salad, cupcakes, salsa, chips and a grill putting out non-stop hot dogs and burgers. We feasted, needless to say. The theme was Hello Kitty, so everything was pretty and pink. And this is the expecting couple ♥ They’re already parents to the cutie pug Yoda that I always post photos of, and now they’re expecting a baby girl, Eisley. I’m so excited to meet her!And these are the presents awaiting Eisley’s entrance to our world:LET’S ALL HAVE BABIES!

Boyfriend holding our brand new Disneyland deluxe annual passes :)My dumdum surprised me yesterday by putting our one-day tickets into the payment for annual passes. Apparently, this was his plan all along. However, his surprise was slightly foiled by his inability to remember the date 08/30/1986… But that’s okay, right?I had a great time yesterday with my love and my dearest friends. A fun moment happened when Chad Gilbert and Hayley Williams walked up to me & my boyfriend while we were in line for beer, to ask about our Milo/Mickey shirts. They’d seen the shirts earlier in the day on our friends, and decided to talk to US because we were the best-looking. J/K, I’m 90% sure it was because my boyfriend is white and looked most like “their people.” Anyway, it was super adorable, because my boyfriend had no idea who they were. Not that he would’ve cared. He’s too cool for school. (I’m slightly less cool, but still pretty cool.)My feet were hurting terribly! Disneyland always makes me appreciate my bed 10x more. Can’t wait to go back again though and share a clam chowder bread bowl with my darling ♥PS: So happy for diehard Kings fans! I totally predicted the Stanley Cup with my homemade beer pong trophy? You can’t prove otherwise!

Had a really fun day in Bakersfield yesterday. Hung out with the boyfriend and his sister’s husband’s family, so I got to reunite with little baby Trevor, whom I haven’t seen since Thanksgiving. He can walk now! I had SO much unhealthy food from the drive-thru breakfast to the backyard BBQ lunch to buffet dinner at Golden Corral. NOT good, you guys. Happy to be home now and not living out of a large tote bag.

Ikea meatballs for dinner!Don’t be jealous of how fancy we get.Went to our friends’ BBQ yesterday and ate SO much food. Food is my favorite hobby. Next to being with people I care about. Speaking of which…Werk it, boy!(Please excuse my wannabe-cute face in the photo. I just wanted to be cute.)TOMORROW IS PAYDAY!!!I know my boyfriend’s debit card is relieved to hear that! It’s been quite a trooper for us this past week. Golden Corral, here we come!**Offer only valid when the line isn’t longer than Poseidon’s dick.

Had fruits & veggies all day today, then BAM, Dog Haus Biergarten for dinner using a LivingSocial deal I’d purchased days ago. For those who have never experienced Dog Haus before, it is a magical, terribly unhealthy choice for a meal. You’ve got a ¼lb all-beef, skinless dog topped with all the wonderful, awful ingredients you can think of, resting between a “bun” made of 3 toasted Hawaiian bread rolls. I ordered the Grand Slam (smoked bacon, egg, tater tots) and my boyfriend got the B.L.A.S.T. (smoked bacon, lettuce, avocado, serrano chilis, sliced tomato, mayo.) Together, we also shared an order of chili cheese tots. Needless to say, certain activities occurred the minute we arrived back home.

I had such a great night with the mister. The food honestly couldn’t compare to the laughs we had together. Since I’d started a new job last week (that I really do not like,) my stress level has shot up significantly and I haven’t been able to focus on any personal endeavors. The one constant I’m hanging onto every moment of the day is my other half. Luckily, my workplace is extremely close to home, so my one-hour lunch breaks allow me to go home everyday to be with him. His mere presence helps ease the stress and sadness I feel inside. Except for today when he took his socks off and rubbed them on my face while he held me down on the bed.
